All is Quite by Virtu-Imagery All is Quite by Virtu-Imagery
(UPDATE: My Laptop crashed a few weeks ago. And with that I loss some photo files. This photo included. I no longer have the high res of this photo. I will updated this photo soon.)

This was at Manhattan Beach Pier in Manhattan Beach, CA.
This was my first hand at Long exposure photography.
It was a clear evening so there were no clouds to create the contrast against the sea. But I like the composition.

SPECIAL NOTE:
No filter was used to do the star effect on the lamps.
Not sure how that happened?
Other then how my 85mm f1.8 captured the light from the lamps.

Model: Canon EOS 40D
Shutter Speed: 30/1 second
Aperture: F/22.0
Focal Length: 85 mm
ISO Speed: 200

The stars are the result of the tiny aperture and the long exposure. It's the traditional way :) And it adds a lot to the image, in this case.

Yes it is. I live 12 minutes away for Manhattan Beach. So I have shot here many times.
