Description

I was going home 06/22/09 from a photo gig when I got to the Federal Building on Veteran Ave & Wilshire Blvd, in Los Angeles, CA.
Protesters lined Wilshire Boulevard shouting slogans in English and Persian and were greeted by a chorus of horns from supportive motorists. I had to stop and get some photos.

There were shrines for the woman named Neda Agha Soltan who was senselessly killed because of the violence in Tehran.
This was one of them.

Wow! This is a very touching photo! the way the lights are, the atmosphere.... just stunning! The lighting illumintaes the wole picture beautifully and it lights the people aroud it enough to see their purpose and connection to what they're supporting. They create a very sad, yet hopeful feel to this and it really hits you as soon as you see it. The whole photo is just very emotional and hopeful! Well done :)
